Very satisfied
When I bought my jeep I decided to try the sky dock rather than use my old Delphi. I couldn't be happier. My jeep has an aux in and the sound quality is amazing. Blows the old delphi's away. And since the jeep has a soft top there was no way to mount the antenna to the roof so I velcro'd it to the dash. There are absolutely no issues with reception whatsoever. Installation was a cinch and took 10-15 minutes. It took longer to transfer my service on the phone only because the rep didn't speak English too well. It's a pain if you get a call or text, but I got around that by using my old first generation iPhone. Just downloaded the app, plugged it on and it fired right up. It's nice that old phone can come in handy instead of gathering dust. The only upgrade O can think of I'd like to see is some kind of remote. I miss being able to scan other channels while I'm driving, and you can't change channels while you're driving with this thing, but overall still a 5 star app...

Sky Dock
I bought a used car that did not have an iPod dock. Also, although there was a button on the radio for satellite, a receiver and antenna had never been installed. It would have cost me $600 for the receiver and antenna alone. An iPod dock was another $150-200. Radio Shack told me about the Sky Dock for $99 for iPhone and iTouch. The XM app was free. Connection was easy. Since my 12v socket was in the console I bought a socket extender for $12.00. Now I have terrific satellite radio reception in my car and it charges the iPhone (I had upgraded to 3GS so I had an extra phone -- I'm using the old one in the car as an iTouch). The socket extender made it readily visible. It is a cinch to use. Activation and usage charges as usual with Sirius/XM.

Great App; Lacking One Feature
Everything works great. You get access to all the channels on your XM subscription. But, that's part of the problem. For nerds like me, I really don't need to scroll through all the sports and news channels to get to the Virus. There should be a way to Add/Delete Channels like on other XM radio receivers. I'm not talking about Parental Controls because you can still see the channels. I mean a way to completely hide channels that you'll never listen to. Other than that, good stuff. Also, there seems to be some confusion on these other reviews about not being able to delete tagged songs. All you have to do is go into that menu and left swipe the song, a red "delete" option shows up, tap it and you're good. Works just like deleting e-mail on the iPhone/iPod Touch.

I don't understand. Am I to render an opinion on the SkyDock or on the iTunes 'support' I got? The skydock is great....the online support for XM installation was terrible. S. White

Need dimmer
Please add dimmer. It's too bright at night. Do this and I'll change to 5 stars.

Great app with room for improvement
I'm really enjoying this app and the accompanying XM Skydock. It's easy to navigate and intuitive. I'd like more pre-sets. Also, while I can tag songs, it only allows 50, has no way of deleting mistakenly tagged songs and right now won't connect to the iTunes store for me to buy them.
