At first I thought this was only a novelty
After looking up some of the "common" words I use I was thinking what's the big deal, and, so they changed from a traditional ebook dictionary design until I looked up the word penurious! Then the app paid for itself. Laying this all out in mind note or node fashion like this is a real big help. It would be really nice if key words would be hyperlinked to their definitions like the traditional Oxford dictionaries do do.

This app is beautiful and cool not to mention one can use it in a practical sense. Whether you are at school, work, or want to impress your friends (with wordplay or just by simply letting them use this app) Wordflex can definitely benefit one in those environments. If you are like me, probably scrolling through these reviews deciding if I'm going to pay X amount of money, especially if X amount of money is higher than the normal amount of money I would pay for an app. This app is worth every bit of X amount of money and you can tell in the design, how cool would it be to incorporate Wordflex into the IPad's core!!! That would give iPad an edge over the competition!!! Great app for a great a great device... One word Wow!!! Oh one more thing if you wanna expand and a word double tap that word and select the appropriate option :-)

Wow! I have deleted my other dictionaries off my iPad now. This is a steal at the regular price. Grab it while it is on sale. Amazing app. Word lovers will rejoice! What fun! Having the Oxford team behind this product guarantees that the dictionary component is the best that there is.

Great for the Classroom
My 8th grade language arts students found this app very informative and fun (as far as dictionaries go). They like the interface, the short and easy-to-understand definitions, and the antonyms. They are in 100% agreement that it is much more useful than a traditional dictionary. I will use it for all of my vocabulary assignments next school year. But why the name change??? Twig was cute and playful, and Wordflex sounds like schoolwork!

A logophile's must have app!
I use this multiple times per day and already have my 12 year old daughter sold on its various excellent features. Well worth every penny, even if it is a lot of pennies. All English teachers should own this and use it in their classrooms!

Absolutely Brilliant App
The invention of this app should be nominated for a Nobel Prize for creating a learning environment that simplifies English for 90 per cent of the population.
