not pretty but most useful
when the new update came, I didn't care for the look and the "gloominess" of the UI (the original was kind of boring looking too) so I went looking for another To Do app. Found more colorful and prettier apps but could not find one that had everything that Toodledo has as far as functionality. it's never missed a notification for me and I found it to be one of the only low cost apps where you could choose "every weekday" or "Monday, Wednesday, and Friday" for the recurrance of a task. I'm going to stay with Toodledo and hope that the developers continue to work on more options as far as look and feel for this app.

Great to-do list app - great for GTD
The to do list and the notes are great if you work across several platforms - Windows, Mac, iPad, iPhone. Sync works very well - do have to be careful of your settings (manual is an option). I like the new app interface, but there is room for improvement (isn't there always?). I like the folder list - very handy. I wish the search was on the left too so I didn't have to scroll back to the top. Still, app search is very fast - faster than some search functions on the web page. Using Toodledo with David Allen's GTD. I use the task Folders as GTD context and project lists. Search function is great to look across several folders (or within depending how you do the search). Has several options for location and context tags if needed for particular next action or project. Date, priorities and the star work well - I use them to set daily priorities but stay within my GTD system (a personal modification of GTD). Notes are very handy. Work well offline when I am traveling outside US. Email upload and file support are also great. Very complete solution and cost effective solution that works very well.

the future is here
Some of you long time users take a look you will see the functionality and usefulness and ease-of-use in this application is unsurpassed by any. The functionality and usefulness far outweigh any benefit from fonts or formats . i will take the volume of content and functionality any day if all I have to do is put on my glasses

New UI is terrible. Old UI was perfect.
Old app was easily 5 stars. The new UI only goes backwards, everything is harder to press and looks worse. The built in iOS UI is simple and awesome, bring it back or make it an option in settings.

Great concept, but complex UI and bugs hold it back
Toodledo itself is a fantastic tool, effectively bridging the gap between feature-rich but inflexible apps (no subtasks, manual reordering, etc) like Remember The Milk and simpler options like Google Tasks. The iOS app is great in that you can access nearly all the features as the desktop webapp, but it's difficult to navigate intuitively and often crashes when I try changing the view options. It's still good enough that I use it as my primary task manager, but it's not perfect.
