I find this a pleasure to play. Sounds like a Jp and a Nova had a cyber baby.. No new ground in terms of really taking advantage of the interface, but frankly that's welcome. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy the non traditional interfaces being developed by some others a lot as well. It's just nice to have a well designed synth with a solid sound engine, and the midi learn makes me smile!

Beautiful lush sounds
This was everything I read in previous reviews. Great soundset and plenty of knobs to twist your own new sounds out. Easy controls in a classic analog emulation synth layout. A must have if you are a synth fanatic!

Just wanted to say the Behringer BCR2000 works excellent with the Sunrizer app. I've had the app since it came out and just recently picked up the BCR2000. I hooked them up with the camera kit and manually set up each knob, though there may be a way to set it up faster, I don't know much about midi.

Finally a decent iOS synth!
OK... HERES THE DEAL. I own a REAL Roland JP8000. This synth sounds nothing like it, and the synth engine is completely different. That being said, this is a fantastic synth and probably the first quality one out for iOS. This is a very basic synth that is great for most types of music. Being based on the real hardware JP8000, this should suffice for people making dance/trance/industrial/dub step, whatever.... But it is equally great for rock or whatever else you might want to do. Definitely buy a USB keyboard to use this with, and also a nice pair of headphones/monitors. It will make the synth much more fun to play with. IT SOUNDS AWESOME!
