Pretty useful
Great app. Beautifully designed. Keeps me very aware of how much energy I waste for no reason.

Simple but effective.
A basic idea implemented well. Hopefully they add more bells and whistles as time goes on. Really enlightening to see how much electricity things consume (or don't consume).

Much improved
The recent update has made this app much improved. Enjoy the control over the electricity rate for international people (or just US people that know more about energy rates). Looks like it now works on iOS 5 as well. Digging the new icon as well.

Simple but very useful!
Works perfect on my ipad2. Very convenient way to see how much some of my old appliances are burning through my electric bill....

Mark one more crasher
Me too. App quits in the first half second of boot up. Read on for why I gave it 3, not 1 star. Perhaps it's that I am using IOS5 on an original iPad. If this loads onto and functions with my iPhone that uses the current IOS6, I will come back and update my review. But that does beg the question, "If it is simply an issue of the app only working with devices running the latest IOS, why isn't this included in the app info as a disclaimer?" UPDATE: this app works on my iPhone running IOS6 Well, going back to the app's AppStore page, they did note that this app won't work on any but IOS6 devices and that an update to fix this is in the works. They just failed to correct that in the System Requirements section on that same page. Why the name "Stopwattch"? Intentionally confusing or just being cute? Seeing if folk catch the double T. I had previously DL'ed what I'd thought was a competing app called Verde. Turns out, Stopwattch is made by them. (P.S. That one works on devices running IOS5). But I gotta ask, what is the difference between them? I thought I'd read on the Verde web site that Stopwattch was developed for evaluating the cost of operating Plug-in Hybrids like the Chevy Volt. But elsewhere on their web sie and in the AppStore info, it sounds like a duplicate of the Verde app. Go figure. Interesting to note that they have a link to Stopwattch on the Verde AppStore page but not the other way around.
