BBE is the science of sound
I own a BBE Sonic Stomp pedal that I use to amplfy and tweak my amp tones and this holy grail app now does the same for my iphone. There are miltiple saved, personal settings for home speakers, and different types of headphones (I have Beats and the earbuds) that will satisfy the most discriminating ears. Bottom line, get this app and amp up your sound.

I had suspected the 5-star raves seemed just a bit too perfect - and I should have trusted my gut. The app merely opens to a red screen w/ logo- then crashes completely after a minute or longer. The link to the "SonicMac Pro Support" page sends you to an unfinished website with no way of contacting the company.

An Avalanche Of Coolness!
I've been a BBE fan on the professional side for nearly 23 years, and I can now finally say that I like how Mp3s sound, thanks to SonicMax. the new controls are ideal for listening with earbuds. Just when I thought I was tired of my songs, now I want to hear them all over again!

I love this App! I play Gtr & keys. Have used & dug the BBE Sonic Max tech onstage and in studio for years now. Getting their mojo for my iTunes-iPhone makes total sense to improve listening experience.

I've been using BBE gear in my live bass rig and home studio for years. This is killer that I can use it with my iPad and iPhone. Audio heaven

BBE does it again!!!
Being an avid BBE user for several years, I was intrigued when they came out with an app and had to have it.... I will never listen to my music without this again... This app is well worth the small money that was spent... Get your ears ready to hear some sweetness!!

For Audiophiles, adds "color" and soundstage to your music
Has a number of useful preset audio settings for your Ipod touch/IPad/IPhone as well as 3 more user-programable settings and while it isn't exactly an equalizer, has useful settings to drastically improve the soundstage and instrument/vocals separation beyond what your IDevice is capable of. It does also have a reverb and "Bass Boost/Bass Crossover" type of function. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has considered buying an amp or amp/DAC for their IDevice or even those who run their IDevice through a computer-based equalizer and want something for on-the-go. Pros:-Amplifies and adjusts Bass and to a lsser extent mids and highs to suit a number of audio devices, docking devices, headphones. -Adjusts audio soundstage to give you that "Sitting right in the studio", "Front Row at the concert" feel -Adjusts Vocal separation so that you aren't just listening to a wall of sound coming from inside your head, you can virually pick out each vocal and instrument on studio/live recordings -Still allows you to access all your song controls while in the app. Cons:-Goes to first track in library every time the app is opened, not the last one you listened to. -Not an inexpensive app, but sooo much less expensive than new headphones or an amp/DAC.
