Good app!
It has very interesting documentaries and provide stories that are not covered in other documentary app. I sometimes had some problems to load the video but it is fixed by closing it and opening it again. It will be nice if it can remember the point in where I paused the video to move to another app. I usually have to look for it and forward the video to where I stopped the last time. Other than that, it is a great app and I don't regret downloading it. I enjoy most of the videos there.

Demographics
Mad props to the developers, but sometimes you need to think who your audience will be. Are they kids, teens, twentysomethings, retirees? Look at your demographics, and find out what age group actually watches Smithsonianchannel. I'd say 30+ Speaking for myself, I just want to watch some shows, I don't want a complex game portal feeling app. Just give me the basics please. Granted the looks and feel are awesome, but I don't want to chase a bubble around with a double-helix like aura just to find one of the FEW full length videos. As I just mentioned, it's mostly clips and not full length shows..pass that to programming. I attempted. Watching the Hope Diamond show, but it would jump ahead 20 seconds every few minutes. I gave up. I thought the Smithsonian would have better quality. Disappointed, but I'll keep this app updated for a while before I delete it.
