Complete meltdown
Running on the iPad2 with 4.5.1 Roambi will only show the splash screen and then crashes back to the springboard. Oh..yeah..same thing on 3GS 5.0. What the heck happened? BTW: Found out just as I was making a new introduction to a client....What do you think their decision will be?

Cool, but...
This might be cool if I could figure out how to use it.

This app looked so promising. But, the publisher is difficult to use and the support for auto-refresh, both for the $100/yr Pro version and the $40,000 enterprise version are just not sufficient whatsoever. The auto-refresh works with Excel files, but they MUST be hosted on Googledocs? What a ridiculous requirement! This one requirement has halted our company from being able to completely automate the process of refreshing the Roambi. And the enterprise version (not an option for small businesses at a STAGGERING $40k) is no better, as there is only one difference between Pro and Enterprise: Oracle support. However, I am still holding out hope that they will change, what with a recent injection of $30 million in venture capital.

Beautiful! but useless :(
Update: Since it's been a while I thought I'd check back to see if Roambi has evolved. Here's an official snippet from Roambi documentation: "(Note: In order to give you the best possible user experience, the Roambi Publisher uses the Adobe Flash Player. Since the iPad/ iPhone/iPod Touch do not support Flash, you will NOT be able to access the Roambi Publisher from these devices." So according to Mellmo, using Flash Technology to facilitate uploads creates "the best possible user experience", i.e. ZERO ability to access to the Roambi Publisher from iOS. Wouldn't the ability to actually access the Roambi Publisher uploading mechanism be "the best possible user experience"? Original: It's hard finding a reason to not give a useless app any rating above one star, but in this case, Roambi's visualizations are pretty enough to give me a reason to bump it up from one star to two. Unfortunately this is where it all ends (unless maybe you're a SalesForce user?). Odds are good that I could successfully rebuild the transmission of a 1968 Dodge Charger R/T 440 Magnum using only a cocktail straw and a bottle of ketchup, much more fast and readily than I can import a spreadsheet into Roambi. And I don't know the first thing about cars! Was hoping maybe I could use my Dropbox? Nope. How about plain old email? Nope. Oy. The Roambi site uses Flash which is almost always a complete bust. Talk about an unnecessary use for Flash, yikes! So basically, in the end I had fun perusing the sample files inside Roambi, but that's about it.

Gas fuel log
The current gas fuel log apps have no graphs for seeing trends... I wish Roambi would enter this graphing application arena.
