Terrible - get notifo
I thought I could use this todo some ad hoc notifications on my phone... The API was terrible and basically undocumented the program crashes all the time and in general the app is extremely flaky. Notifo is free, has a better ui and in general is more awesome ( there may be others)

The description boasts that no gmail credentials are required. What they don't tell you is that you need to forward all your emails to them to get notifications. Additionally, for some reason your google voice notifications can't be set up until you start forwarding all your emails to them first. I still can't figure that one out.

Poorly thought out
There are so many areas in which this app falls short it is hard to list them all, but one example is the process by which one sets up a Twitter account. It took me five tries, and even then there was no way to verify the email address I was told to enter in my Twitter preferences...

Super userful!
This is a really useful app for all kinds of push notifications. I can get notified when someone replies to my tweets and when I get new email. I can control them all from one place without having to bother with each app. Very well done and nice UI. It's also super fast, mostly since the last update.

This app…is incredible
Person who complained about "hidden charges" apparently has trouble reading. It's right there in the app description, along with "top in-app purchases" in the sidebar. MOREOVER, everything is free right now as a limited time promo. And Holy Cow. This is unbelievably fast. I had Boxcar, but I got this on a strong recommendation from Twitter, and this makes Boxcar superfluous. This is more like a RACEcar. It's even faster, significantly so, than Growl notifications routed from my Mac via Prowl. I don't know how it does it. I have a couple of Twitter accounts, and so I tested this by sending an @-reply from one to another. It appeared on my phone almost as soon as I hit "enter." Since getting my iPhone a couple of years ago, I've tried a bunch of Twitter clients, several of which — Tweetings, Twitbit, and Echofon — have push notifications. I've been using Echofon, but as an experiment I loaded the other two back on my phone. Push Notifications 2.0 utterly smokes them, consistently. This app is so fast it almost seems too good to be true. I don't know what the developer's secret is, or if it's financially sustainable, or what. All I know is that right now, this is push notification nirvana. And I thought I had already attained that. I had no idea what I was missing.
