My go to camera app
A lot of the more "advanced" camera apps literally take longer to setup than a DSLR. This defeats the beauty of the iPhone; that its always with you and ready. I have taken some excellent pics with the app and I like the clean interface. Image quality is as good as the iPhone produce.

Too many serious bugs
I really want to like this app. But the bugs make it unusable. I like that it saves photos as tiffs, offers a night mode and anti-shake. But it doesn't always save photos, or saves them too late and blurry from movement (so much for anti-shake). And the screen randomly goes black in night mode. This has been going on for months. I notified the developer but there has been no response or update. I'm moving on to other apps.

Good app
It takes the same pictures as the native app. What it gives you extra is a lot of information about what is going on. If you are used to a camera that shows you f/stops, shutter speeds, ISO, and so on, you will find this very handy.

Pro app reviews is a joke
I believe this app is great and for only $2 it is far better than the basic camera app installed on my iPhone 5. Pro app reviews simply rants and states opinions as if they are facts. He even insults iPhone users and has the audacity to insult other reviewers for giving 5 star reviews. Then has the nerve to suggest he is a "pro app reviewer". Totally lame. The app is what it is. It's a clean camera app and I believe it's very easy to use. All my photos have turned out great using it and I have had no problems. Thank you to the developer for taking the effort to make this camera app, I hope to see more. neofaith

New version fixes the picture orientation problem - mostly
Pictures appear correctly in the native iOS Photos app but you still have to rotate the phone to see them in the PureShot viewer. I guess that's the part about PureShot only being a landscape camera. One other small issue I'm still having - the picture size ratio button in the bottom right is often hit and changed inadvertently. My pictures are coming out in all different sizes. Otherwise a very good camera alternative.
