It took me days of searching to finally find an iPad app that does exactly what I need. All I want is for an app to display the corresponding piano note when I play a key. Not that difficult of a concept, right?!? I've looked through countless apps (and even wasted money on a few) but surprisingly 99% of the available piano learning apps out there does not have this capability! Maybe I am just not using the right search terms but whatever the case, I am glad I finally found Note Goal Pro. $3 very well spent!!!

I'm learning how to play the piano and this is great for learning how to read notes. Just started and I'm already doing better. Great app!

Won't start
I was able to set up a user I'd, but when I try to start thebprogram either as that user or as a guest, the app quits.

1.2.8 version keeps crashing.
Don't upgrade (or buy if not fixed). These guys need to test.

Effective but needs pause button
After trying many programs for note reading, this one seems to work most effectively. It doesn't have a lot fancy features, but it has all the options needed to learn note reading. It's approach is straight-forward and strongly is based on repetition, which is key (no pun intended) to being effective. When practicing with more notes in each part, the session will be longer naturally which means a pause button is badly needed. I was most of the way through an almost perfect practice when I was interrupted by someone. Once you stop, it starts over without remembering where you left off.
