Great app, paid should be $1
Because the difference between the paid and free version seems to mostly be the presence of ads, they should have their paid version be $1 so it's more accessible. I'd love to pay $1 to support them and as a bonus, have it be ads free. Also, retina display optimization would be great, e.g when I click the bottom bar to see a multidisplay of the slides in a row, utilizing the retina display to be able to view the text in the thumbnails would be awesome. Other than that, great app and keep up the good work!

Obsoletely the best!
The multi touch gestures are genius and practical. Everything is speedy and swift. Love this app! Just one con...the text is somehow not as sharp as it should be when viewed on the new iPad's retina display. Please fix this soon! Everything else is terrific!

Free version much better than free DocAs Lite
This free version does not limit functionality, but only contains ads. That means that you can use it to annotate a PDF and then export that file when you are done without upgrading. Free version of DocAS Lite makes this process difficult by only allowing you to export a file via USB transfer to iTunes. Interface is also much better than interface in DocAS Lite, and allows you to underline with ease. Text box insertion is also more intuitive and thus easier to use and less cumbersome. Needless to say, this is the second Free PDF annotation app I have tried, and it is good enough for me to look no further. DocAS Lite, however, fell short. I recommend PDF-notes free version over DocAS Lite any day (and EVERY day).

Please add the ability to lock the zoom level and pan around
I agree with the other poster. This app is almost perfect. I'm giving it 5 stars because its closer to 5 stars than 4 stars. Great highlighting ability. This developer has a ToDoList - I find that terrific - Keep up the efforts. -Please work on enhancing the rendering of annotations/highlights by other programs, so that the highlights reliably render when using another program. Please provide a list for us of friendly / compatible softwear. -A search function would be great too. -I would like to upgrade to the pro version but I don't want to lose my documents from pdf free -Is there a way to upgrade pdf free to pdf pro without installing pdfpro as a separate program?

Fore a free App it is excellent reader. It helps for me to do highlight and write a note. I hope to see a hand written and typed note option.

Amazing app. Allows you to mark up PDFs then save/email it as a new document with your notes as images! GREAT for explaining things to classmates when you can't meet, and it's FREE!!!!!
