The ads are infuriating!
I've been feeling more and more like a chump, paying $50 a month for a weekend subscription just to have my Sunday crossword ritual. I do all of my NYT reading on the phone. The LAST thing I want staring at me from my phone is an ad for freaking Citibank! I wanted to support a dying institution but I'm ready to pull the plug.

Full screen, por favor
Just adding my voice to the din of other protests here. - Bring full screen back, for all the reasons mentioned. - Bring the bottom bar back from previous versions; I liked being able to save with an easy "click" to the Save button on the disappearing bottom bar.

Remove banner ads!
As a paid subscriber reading the New York Times in my iPhone 5, I should not be forced to ensure banner ads at the bottom of the screen! They are annoying and should be stopped! If not, I'll drop my subscription. It's one thing for non-paying folk to see these, but insulting for paying subscribers. You can do better than this, NY Times!

3 articles a day?!?!
Really? Don't you know your stuff gets regurgitated all over the web?!? Why not be the source of the news?? Instead I find your articles re-written elsewhere, albeit them being poorly written. The app used to be fantastic and it seems each update it gets whittled down from all articles, to just the top headlines, to just 3 daily? This is truly pathetic. Arthur Ochs Sulzberger, Jr. you should be ashamed of yourself.

NY Times is not only biased, but GREEDY!
I have a digital subscription for my iPad that also gives me access to the website version. BUT, the NY Times wants me to upgrade my subscription for an addition $15 a month to see the same content on my iPhone. I deleted the iPhone app rather than get ripped off by these running dog capitalists! Just kidding! They are really running dog liberal capitalists. None of my other Newstand subscriptions requires me to subscribe twice to view the content on both my iPhone and iPad.

Since summer started I have not gotten a single notification. My notifications for the app have not been turned off so I don't know what's up with that.
