Extremely Limited
NYTimes update isn't really an update. It just limits you to 3 articles. I deleted NYT app, will never use it again.

Idiots removed one-touch save feature
DON'T UPDATE!!! The latest version removed the ability to save articles with a single touch. Now you have to first hit the arrow in the upper right corner, then choose the save icon from one of the 5 icons that pop up on the bottom. What idiot designed that interface? It takes more than twice as long as it used to. It's a serious annoyance if you save a lot of articles to read later.

3 problems
1. Don't delete saved articles upon an update! 2. Stop those annoying ads. 3. Get it out of news stand.

Crappy organization, needs a new format
The app should be reformatted to enable users to look at today's paper, as it looks in print, and access articles through that. WaPo and WSJ have those formats and they look and function so much better. The NYT format is confusing and buries front page print stories in the current format. There should also be a revision in the international section to allow for regional specification-middle east, Asia, Latin America for instance; it would create better organization and easier searching than the randomness of the current app. All of these things are available on the website, just translate them into the app.
