Crash crazy
"If I've heard it once, I've heard it 1,000 times." Well maybe the New York Times needs to hear it even more. The app crashes constantly. It's as if I'm reading the Times in paper form and it spontaneously combusts. Very very irritating. Come on guys, fix it.

Disable links on swipe
The links are too easy to click accidentally. Especially for a city with people on the subway it shouldn't try to load a page if it knows I don't have internet. It also shouldn't click a link if I'm doing a slow swipe. A lot of people like me mindlessly swipe around text when reading and it shouldn't constantly open windows. Maybe a setting even to disable links.

Crashes. Full-screen ads.
Intermittently crashes on iPhone 5S even after deleting and reinstalling. Full-screen ads require tap to dismiss, irritating considering subscription fee.

Looks great...crashes often
This new version's look is a big improvement, but crashes and shuts down with almost every article in every section. Would be great if we could be able to read comments ...

Link clicking needs fixing
This would be 5 stars but I rated it at one to get attention. When you're scrolling in the latest version and your finger touches a linked word within the article it will go to where that link takes you regardless of whether or not you try to move your finger away from the link. This is terribly annoying when scrolling through articles... It invariably happens every time I read an article. Please fix this. Also, why am I seeing ads when I pay for the news? I understand your strategy is to make money and times are tough- but seriously, I'm paying so I can read the news and not see ads. If I wanted ads I would go to other sources.
