13th Skull
This is the 3rd game I've played... the first (and my favorite) was the Notre Dame church mystery. The 13th Skull one has beautiful graphics and I love the wonderful actors throughout the game. However - from the beginning I had issues where, after doing a puzzle, I could not get back to the game no matter how many times I clicked on the screen. The message "if you exit now, your game will not be saved" (or something to that effect) kept on showing. Now, at the end of the game, I cannot get past the "listen to Sara with the drinking glass" even though I have done so (the glass is no longer on the door nor is it in my inventory yet on the "objectives" line it says "listen to Sara's conversation". I have tried continuing with the game (i.e., ignoring the "objectives" line) but nothing else works... it is like the game is stuck at that last task (listening to Sara). SO-O-O-O... at this point, I will probably just "dump" the game - I am not interested in trying to start over to see if this resolves the issue. What a shame.... I really, really loved Notre Dame - this game, though, not so much ): Pat

Was great!
My favorite -- the most fun puzzles -- of the Mystery Case Files games I've played. Was just the right level of difficulty. Lengthy (gave me my money's worth), and held my interest throughout (decent storyline). Was easy to jump right back into, when I was too busy to play for days/weeks in between, thanks to Case File which has the story up to the point that you left off. I experienced no glitches or crashes on iPad mini (iOS 6.0.1). My only complaint is that it was hard to see/identify some of the hidden objects; we should be able to pinch to enlarge or tap to zoom. Other reviewers seem to be unaware that there is a Hints button, a Subtitles option (to read the video dialog), and that the BigFishGames blog has a walkthrough!

Big disappointment.
I purchased this game with great expectations based on the reviews. However I've been unable to get any sound effects or dialogue (is there any dialogue?) to play the game. It seems I have wasted my money.

What a good game. Big Fish Games has done it again. The game has great graphics and an ending that is totally unexpected. This game is not one of those "solve me in an hour" games. You need to keep thinking the entire time. The mini puzzles are quite a challenge, and you will rack your brain trying to figure them out. Once you have them finished, you will be pleased at yourself for doing them. The only things about this game that could be better is 1) allow the gamers to be able to enlarge the game, especially during the search period. Only once where you able to enlarge it was working with the map. 2) some of the items you are looking for during the search mode were a little too close to the edge. You are able to see them, but some, just barely. Also, in the walk through, they stated that there are five torn pieces of map between each sign. There are actually six.
