Interface is counterintuitive. Import databases have serious issues. Title search unreliable. UPC search even worse.

What happened?
The app was working great till the latest update! Now it says any movie I put in "movie wasn't found in the database" What happened?

Lots of bugs, but great potential.
This app has the following bugs: -crashes -inconsistently loads stored data -freezes -menus often have to be loaded twice or you get a blank screen -delete function doesn't always disappear after deleting but remains dim -if scanning several titles eventually the app forgets the UPCs scanned and you end up with blank movies and data resulting in having to rescan Suggestions: -fix the bugs and don't charge $1.99 until you do. This app is CURRENTLY NOT WORTH IT. -make it an all media inclusive app to include other media such as PS3 and Wii games. I went ahead and loaded mine and put them under a "collection" in the app. And labeled them as "digital" but it'd be amazing to categorize them as a "game" vs a "movie" and under their prospective system "PS3" vs " Blu-Ray" The App is an AWESOME IDEA and worth having. Just frustrating with so many bugs. NEEDS WORK.

Great app
Very easy to use, even on a 3G phone. Features that I wanted and thought that I would have to ask for were already incorporated into the app. This app will make it easy for me to avoid buying duplications and also track who I need to return the movies to that I borrowed!!! We share movies in our family all the time, so this will be great. The e-mail support was very responsive and timely. They helped me select the right scanner to use for my 3G phone. Thanks!

Restore to iPad using App Web Server doesn't work
I successfully used the App Web Server to backup the db from my iPhone. I then started the App Web Server on my 64GB 3G iPad and attempted to restore. One of two things always happen. First Safari on my iMac hangs at "Contacting ''" where is the IP of my iPad; or, Second the MyBoxOffice app crashes on my iPad. I have been totally unable to restore the db to my iPad using the App Web Server. I have reset my iPad, rebooted the iMac, deleted and reloaded MyBoxOffice all to no avail. The restore from backup simply doesn't work for me.
