Outstanding - as simple or a complicated as you want it
Been using the app for over six months. Steady, consistent gains, all documented and charted by the app. I currently use one of the free programs, which is plenty to get me started. As I look for more sophisticated features I'm pleased to see that they're already in the app, waiting for me to move to the next level. Multi year indeed - I can see using this indefinitely. Bravo on the first lifting app that really does everything I need when I'm in the gym.

A sucker for detail
I'm not the type of guy that's easy going and can just go to the gym and just workout. I have to have a program, a routine, some structure, and I must have a good source for measuring progress. This app takes care of it all. While the GUI might not be the most pleasant thing to look at and manipulate, I'm sure the developer will get to that eventually. What really matters though is that this app isn't just a sweet-looking app with no meat and potatoes, but rather a very thorough and robust platform with which to measure long-term progress. Truly, a MUST-HAVE for any lifter.

Amazing fitness app
If your serious about gaining strength and size whether your experienced and even more so for beginners this is the app for you.

Excellent Tool for Serious Long-Term Improvement
The only app that I'm aware of that really focuses on long-term strength programming. I trust the automatically determined progressions enough now that my gym visits consist of starting Multi-Year and just doing what it tells me. Great!

Excellent app and programs
The App is excellent and well thought out with actually USEFUL tools to help with programming. Also the app has excellent purchasable and free programs that will give you results. My only request would be the addition of KB and/or DB templates to round out the apps total usability.

Happy user for 8 months
I've been using the app for 8 months and it has been great for me. It helped me figure out a routine and stay motivated. The app is easy to use while lifting. It has gotten more polished over time (i.e. notifications now when the timer has run out, spontaneous work outs, etc). I'm not a bodybuilder, just some looking to get stronger and this app definitely fits the bill. I definitely recommend it and the built-in programs (as add-ons). A couple comments - if you are new to lifting, be careful and really study form for squats and deadlift! For someone new to these exercises, I would have appreciated more warning and guidance on this from the app. Also, I got an injury and took some time off - there is no way in the app to indicate that you are in "recover mode" and adjust weights accordingly. Two areas where the app could do more, even though it is already the best lifting app I've found.

Really liking the new updates
The ability the make custom programs and spontaneous workouts is a great improvement. Sometimes it seems like the updating of your 1RM for the big three can be a bit glitchy if you switch programs. I'd like to see the option for the app to read my bodyweight from HealthKit, since I already enter that into myfitnesspal in the morning.

Awesome app
Overall I love this app, it has a few minor quirks but the developers are constantly updating and improving it. I have not tried to create my of workouts but I know it allows you to. I have been using the multi year Phase 1 program and plan to progress thru the various phases. In the first 2 weeks I've been using the app and adhering to the workouts it designed I feel I'm getting stronger and certainly feel I provides some level of motivation so for now I am giving 5 stars
