Soooooooo fun!!!
Could just be my personal taste, but running through this beautiful 8-bit game as fast as possible with ghost images running along... Just soo much fun! There are only 20 levels, so I'm definitely hoping for some additional levels in an update, but this game is tops!!

The gameplay is actually great, it's the controls that aren't. And you'll notice how aggravating they can be once you're on a small platform against a wall and need to make a precise jump to another platform followed by another quick jump over an enemy.

A challenging title
Some may not like the ghost feature, and they would turn it off. But I like the ghost feature as it adds a whole new challenge to the game. The more you die, the harder it gets. And same for the controls. Some people may not like them, so they would switch them to more classic controls. But I like the controls as they add a whole new challenge to the game. You have to learn how to use the new controls, and it takes a little to get used to them. And even when you do, it may still be harder than the classic controls. Anyway, this is a great, challenging title and definitely worth your 2 dollars.

Super fun and pretty challenging! I can't imagine getting all the badges for all the levels because it gets pretty hard, but it's a rad game and the controls are really great

Not so fast...
While it is a fairly well constructed game, I feel that the standard for these types of nu-retro iOS games has been raised quite high already. The Hook trilogy by Rocketcat Games being the prime gold-standard example. League of Evil is another good entry, & also very close in terms of approach, but LoE is the superior game to Mos. I don't feel as if the controls are as tight as LoE, or another excellent platformer, Pizza Boy. I must also say that the desire to emulate a retro look is half-hearted, decent, but that's it. Another recent iOS entry called Karoshi (check it out, great game) has the same overall look, but that game's charm easily negates the lame 'monitor lines' effect, something Mos attempts, but the charm just isn't there for me. Again, Rocketcat being the leader in iOS nu-retro platformers and Jeff Minter's two instant iOS masterpieces of old/new mash-ups (Minotaur Rescue & Minotron) make half-hearted attempts like Mos Speedrun look like the two bit imitators that they are. Sounds harsh, but Mos is simply not nearly as good as many other available titles.
