Won't download
I've been downloading it for 2 hours with no progress. Paused it and downloaded 6 other apps in 10 minutes, then tried again....another hour and NO progress. Will re-rate if I ever get to check it out.

Great Job!
An Amazing resource for those who are fans of Leonardo da Vinci (or even if you're not). The user interface is so elegant with a clever use of text, diagrams, and translations, and video. I definitely put this one on the top ten list. Note: If sound from the videos featured throughout the app does not play through the iPad's internal speakers, check your audio settings by double clicking on the home button and scrolling to the left to deselect the mute sound button. Congratulations to the developers!!

The story of a genius
An incredible and accurate depiction in words and drawings of the most famous architect, artist, and anatomical professional ever to walk the earth. Even for the price of 14$ I could not imagine not having this application after using it. If you have even a small interest in anatomical and historical information, then please buy this app. A note to the creators: Please make an app similar to this one except on Leonardo da Vince's achievements on architectural advancements.

Fantastic - like a museum in your hand
A very engaging book on Leonardo's anatomical studies, but it's hard to just call it a book. Terrific use of interactive elements let you examine the drawings closely and it never comes off as overly gimmicky. Although there are a few parts about Leonardo's other work, such as "the last supper" it is still in the context of how the anatomy guided his drawing. All the famous ones you would expect such as Vitruvean Man are here, but many others I've never seen. Carefully laid out, easy to explore, and takes advantage of the Retima display -- very impressive

It's overwhelming it's so beautiful
I am nearly speechless with how amazed I am at this app. I read a review on a blog and after much thought decided to take a chance on a fourteen dollar app. It is beautifully presented, elegant and thorough. If you an artist and want to study the brush strokes and lines, then it's exceptional. There's lots of information and the 3d interactive anatomy illustrations are brilliantly done. I don't even want to see it all in one sitting because I want to savor it! Seriously, if you are an artist, this is a must have! Only complaint is I really dislike the sounds and can't see where you can turn them off. They are annoying and interrupt the elegance of the book. But it's not a deal breaker. Lovely piece of work.
