Don't BUY!!!!!!!
$7.99 Ridiculous price and it won't open on my iPhone 4S. This is a scam and should be removed from the Apple store. App support link goes nowhere.

Latest update crashes on iPad 1
This app used to play great and was easily a 5-star implementation of an already great game. With the latest update, though, it no longer will even start on the iPad 1...no problem at all before the update. Please fix!

Doesn't open!!
My nephew and I just finished playing the board game and I thought it would be great to download it on our iPads. We each paid the $7.99. Unfortunately, as soon as we try to open the app it crashed and brings us back to the iPads home screen. Very disappointing, I'd like my money back please since the app doesn't work at all!

So close, but....
First, the game is great. Fantastic chess-like strategy game. And finally, the multilayer works in this version. But it needs some serious polish. For instance, if you play a friend online and get a notification that they've made their move, then you log back into the game-- 1 - it takes several steps to get to the in-progress game. Down about 3-4 menu layers. Compare this to, say, words with friends, where you are at the game board almost Immediately, especially after clicking on a game notification. 2 - want to know what move your opponent played? You have to open the side menu, click on the arrow icon to go to yet another menu, click the rewind arrow that matches your opponent's color, then press the play button to see what happened. Really?! Shouldn't the game assume you want to know what your opponent did? That you don't have the entire board memorized? Shouldn't it automatically show you the previous move, and give you immediate access to a replay button? This is design 101 stuff. Also, some minor bugs. I unlocked an achievement yesterday for winning a game without losing any pieces. Except that I had lost the game, and both the other player and myself had lost several pieces. *shrug-* Again, at least the game works. The rest is a a hassle and I hope it's fixed soon.

Flagrantly irresponsible
I read the reviews about the bugs in v.3 and decided to splurge for v.4, one of the most expensive apps ever, figuring that SURELY the developers would have fixed the obvious problems. But no, it is still not possible to take the red pieces against the computer, and the game still freezes of the human plays a winning move, requiring a reboot. It's an outrageous insult and makes me furious that I wasted the money. I give two stars because it's still a good game, but I deeply regret the purchase and hope no one else makes my mistake until they step up and get the game working properly.
