Great game, not necessarily worth the money
If you are debating whether or not to get this game, the first thing you should take note of is the graphics. They are defineitly not the best. Gameplay is good, but it is not always fun to replay the 6 courses over and over. It is also difficult to first start. A tutorial should fix that. I think this is an OK game, but with better graphics and a more intruiging environment like Let's Golf! should make this game a four or five star app. I would not reccommend buying this app for $5, because the controls are pretty easy and there is nothing but courses to just play, with no challenge or anything.

Great Application
I bought this app a few months ago and was quickly addicted. It's very entertaining and is definitely one of the best apps I've purchased. My only criticism would be the mediocre graphics.

Buy this! You won't be dissapointed
it's a lot more simple than other more complex games with better graphics, yet this game can keep me entertained for hours

The most inconsistent golf game I have played. Might as well not have a power meter. 180 yard club hit 50% power either went 130 or 50 yards. No way to tell which till you hit it and hope.

Best Golf Title and Physics for the iPhone to date
I have been playing around with this for about a week and am thoroughly impressed with it. At first glance, the graphics don't look that great, but then you start playing and realize why. The physics are dead on. You put backspin; the ball hits the ground and decelerates faster. You hit into the sand trap; the ball drops without bouncing and is a pain to get out (which is not a bad thing, it's realistic). You hit with more loft; the ball reacts properly by bouncing higher when hitting the ground. I am also impressed by the realistic putting. You actually need to predict correctly where the ball will be affected by hills and aim accordingly. In comparison to Let's Golf, the similarities are scarce. GL Golf feels more like a golf sim than a game, with the exception of high scores. There are no characters, special effects, or ridiculously bright colors. However, I enjoy still enjoy GL Golf more. The physics in Let's Golf are not nearly as precise and feels much less like your actually playing golf than GL Golf does. That said, there are downsides to GL golf. The trees are kind of 2d and the effect when the ball goes in the water is kind of pathetic. Also, when the ball goes with a couple meters of the tree, it magically slows down as if it went through the branches. Even with these downsides, the sound effects and precise physics make up for them and are so beyond anything else on the iPhone platform that I can't take stars away. If you want a game with nice looking graphics and bright colors, then go for Let's Golf, but if you want a game that has great gameplay, great courses, and spot on physics, then go for GL Golf (which I prefer).
