Awesome Update (Crash Fixed)
Update: Deleting and reinstalling fixed the crash. I love Fitocracy, but want to add to the feedback about this version crashing on startup at the Track screen. I'm sure they'll find the problem and fix it. Can't wait to start using it again!

Used to love it
This app used to be awesome for tracking workouts. It had a large selection of pre-programmed exercises and was relatively easy to use and navigate. In this new version I can't get a list of any exercises and it crashes on almost every page. Fix it!

Worst app ever.
Crashes all the time but even if it did work the privacy is horrendous. Most my friend gave up on this within the first week because of this. I was only using this to track but now it's just useless.

Please, for my sanity, fix this app
I followed all the instructions to keep it from crashing. I deleted the app and then re-downloaded it. It worked for two weeks but it won't let me log my exercises for today and keeps crashing

Now it's broken. Exercise lists are empty. Using iPhone 4S without iOS7.

Great idea, poor execution
I love the idea of fitocracy: a community of fitness enthusiasts of varying levels who support and encourage one another. That facet of Fitocracy is wonderful. The app, however, is underwhelming. As a means of tracking workouts, I find it too restricting. Fitocracy wants you track in a very specific way, and there’s little flexibility or latitude for users who aren’t interested in (for instance) creating specific routines. When I go to the gym, it’s to work specific muscle groups, but I don’t necessarily perform the same actions or use the same equipment each time — I’m often at the mercy of machine availability or my own whim. Nor would I want to spend the time creating a bunch of routines and variants. I’d rather have something that automatically builds routines on the fly, while keeping my most recent or most frequently used exercises close to the surface. As it is, having to search for exercises at each stop I make in the gym, then try to remember which one I used last time (sometimes the same one can be listed multiple times with differing names)… it’s enough of a pain that I’ve completely stopped using the app, despite how motivating and wonderful I found the community portion. I’ll be looking for a different app for tracking progress, unfortunately.
