If you don't use the amazing 'workflow' feature for this app, this is *still* the best text editor I've ever used. Once you dig into workflows, it only gets better. Read the reviews on macstories.net and macdrifter.com to get an idea of what this thing can do...

Revolutionized my writing on iOS
If you write even somewhat frequently on your iPad, then Editorial is worth looking at. If you write in Markdown than don't think twice, try this out. This app has changed my interaction with iOS. Editorial is a deep program that can allow for a lot of workflow coding and customization, but if simple is your thing, all the extra depth doesn't get in the way of just writing. (I'm not that code savvy and have appreciated all the work others have put into producing workflows that have streamlined my use of Editorial). I thought the built in browser was an unnecessary addition until I began using it and realized how nice it is to not have to leave an app and switch to a browser for quick searches or to check hyperlinks. There are several other features that, now that I've use them, are hard to imagine writing without them. Editorial has my recommendation. It made me actually want to write on my iPad.

Best Text Editor for iOS
This app is by far the best and most powerful text editor for iOS. With the ability to add Python to workflows, the possibilities are endless.

Amazing Editor with Markdown
What an incredible find! Brilliant Markdown editor with both an elegant inline Markdown display and full HTML preview. Filled with great features: auto Dropbox synching, snippets, easy scripting, python integration, built in browser... Just an amazing editor well worth the five dollar asking price. Highly recommended.

The best markdown editor there is
I've been searching around what I would find to be the best markdown editor. This has led me to using both Bywords and iAWriter, but neither of those seemed all that polished. Why does it take two taps to preview the markdown? And why is it so unpleasant typing the markdown? After using those for months, it feels like such a relief using an app that has users in mind. At first, I was wary of the extent of the features of Editorial. Would I really need to write scripts for my markdown? And truth be told, I haven't even dived that deep into those features. What draws me in is the power this app has, even in the simplest of features. And it's so intuitive to use. The simple things that put this app above the competition: One click swipe to preview Markdown syntax highlighting while writing Extremely powerful scripting API If you're looking for a new markdown editor, or even if you're even the slightest bit unsatisfied with your current one, try this. Just try it. I can't imagine that you'd regret the decision.

Best of the MD Editors
This is the best looking, best featured and best integrated of all the markdown editors I've used. The others being Writing Kit and Elements. It is amazing how much more enjoyable it is to write in this app versus the others solely because of the beautiful type rendering. I haven't explored the scripting support but look forward to it.
