Simple to use, does what it says. Could be better looking, but functionality is great.

Many features, needs refinement
In a pinch, this app might work for you. The UI problems aren't that the icons aren't nice enough; it's that the developer has hammered out a lot of features and the UI has evolved to fit new features. That's not unreasonable: they've gotten a working app to market, and that's an achievement in itself. But the problems are foundational. The UI is overly modal. Your local files are in one place, and your Dropbox files are in another altogether. If I'm looking at some Dropbox files and want to manage them, I have to click the file cabinet icon. Now I'm in file selecting mode. Click some files to rename, now I'm in rename mode. To some extent this is inevitable, you're always going to have to bring up an email dialog to send files. But it definitely needs to be more modeless; for instance, you almost invariably want your local folders to match your dropbox folders, and it does that already. So the local files could be shown alongside Dropbox. Renaming should happen in place. Certain things could be improved. Sorting should work like the Finder, e.g. -[NSString localizedStandardCompare:], and I think there's a workaround for earlier iOS 3. We're storing files locally, so why do we ever need to warn the user, "this operation will delete something"? Why not just have a trash, and tell the user, "file deleted, but we saved a copy, click here to Undo." Keeping a history of user actions and allowing easy Undo makes it much easier for the user to explore the app without feeling like it will delete their data. Also, searching in the present folder alone almost useless, I'd really like to be able to search all subfolders and really want instant searching. I'd definitely wait for an app to index Dropbox; I can get some coffee and if I get feedback as I type. Finding files within date ranges is very valuable the way I use DropBox, but that's quite difficult. Those are just some problems / solutions I have with the app. But to really move out of 99-cent hell, the dev ought to do a survey of customers to find out how they're using it and try to get a concept of what they need. And then sketch out a version 2 UI based on that feedback.

Allows separate login, but missing some features
This app is decent, but it misses obvious features. For instance there is no way to upload multiple photos to dropbox - you have to do one at a time. Also needs to be updated for full screen of iPhone 5. I want to read PDFs in landscape mode so using the full length of the screen is important. Please fix! This app is promising but not yet as good as the main dropbox app. Nice to have more than one good dropbox app for multiple accounts e.g. work and home. On the plus side this is the only decent app I've found that lets me log in to a separate account from the main Dropbox account. I'm using it and hoping they will update soon.

Cuts off the right hand side of documents
This app hides about 1 inch of the right hand side of MS Word documents, regardless of the orientation. That renders this app useless for me. I am using iPad 1 with iOS 5.
