Could be great
But it crashes constantly, and certain fields can't be edited, such as publisher. Adding titles not in the searchable database can be difficult and buggy.

Great Little App for managing your comics on the go
I really like this app. For the 2.99 cost it has a lot of features and has an extensive cover database. The interface can be a bit confusing on adding and tracking books you don't have, but once you figure it out it is awesome. The backup function works great. I backed up to the cloud and restored on a new iPad and boom all my books were there. Overall a great app for the price. Extremely helpful for Cons or when you are out purchasing books, particularly if you have an extensive collection. Although you need internet access to add covers and new books (to get the data associated), once set up you can access all the data without the need for internet access. A nice feature is the app scrolls through your selected comics showing all the covers on a rotating basis. Also, if you have a cover that is not in the db, it is fairly easy to add (once you get the hang of it) your own covers. Additionally I like the fact that where there are variant covers, the app shows most if not all of the variants. A drawback is you need to manually note (in the note section) which covers you own, but they are there. As mentioned the db contains an extensive amount of covers. The data in some cases is sparse, but that is part of the fun of documenting and collecting in general. Although it has some quirks, I would highly recommend this app to any comic collector. Hint: back up regularly to the cloud, especially if you are adding books on a regular basis. Most of my collection are older issues, but the new books seem to be added fairly quickly. Try out the free version...I don't think you'll be sorry. And for 2.99 (less than a cup of coffee) you will have a nice collection interface that should be a pleasure to use (another hint-there is a user guide that can be downloaded. I downloaded into the Kindle app and have it handy for reference).

Not worth it
Not worth the money, might as well stick to a spreadsheet. Needs a mega update, crashes a lot (especially when trying to add comics), horrible UI. Doesn't have many of the new titles. Search yields an insane amount of results that are not necessary. No developer support. The only useful part is the backup portion.

Needs Issues and Covers Better Maintained
This may sound nit picky, but if you're a serious collector, you'd understand. This app doesn't do a very good lately of updating covers for new weekly issues. All or most of the other issue information is there, (issue number, writer, artist, publisher, etc.), but there's no cover to accompany it. On some of the issues it does update, it will only provide the newsstand cover or the variant, and only that one cover. If an issue has multiple variants or if a collector doesn't buy the newsstand cover, it's kinda hard to appreciate the service this app is supposed to provide. Many collectors are very passionate about variant issues and the cover art on their comics and it would be nice to reflect their personal collection choices on the app as well.

No Mighty Thor!
Does not have some very famous titles but you can create your own, it's just a pain. Here is the one star rating...most of the time when you add an issue it will add two of the same issue, then the entire app closes down EVERY TIME you delete anything. It's a waste of money. UPDATE: you can create your own titles as I stated above, but if you do each issue must be added individually, instead of in runs. Waste of money, waste of time.

Maintenance has declined
When this app first came out, whoever runs it was very diligent about entering cover art and information for new issues on the day that the comic came out...every Wednesday. Not so much any more. I hate to be nit-picky but cover art now often lags a week or more after issue, and now newly started issues often do not show up on a search, and there's no way to enter them manually.

Love this app
I really wish this app had a barcode reader. But other than that it's pretty good. I hate having to do a file share via ITunes to share between my own devices. I wish they shared a library.

Absolutely brilliant!
Best app ever! Totally recommended and required for any comic geek who wants to stay on top of there collection. There are some small things here and there not worth mentioning like expanded details and covers. but other then that can't live with out!
