I can't really describe it much further than that. BEAT has a wonderful design and gameplay technique that it simply pulls you in head first wanting and wishing for more. The visuals. Great. The music? Superb. The game overall? A+. Gaijin Games has made something amazingly difficult, wrapped it up into a package that anyone can get in to, then sprinkled rhythm and, fittingly, beat with colorful visuals that can spark your creative juices, wondering just what they might be. I do wish to see more of the series ported to the iPhone, as well as other platforms, but I know that nothing beats a controller, so I won't expect everything. Perhaps VOID to iDevices?

Perfect game.
Controls, excellent. Sound, stellar. Look, gorgeous. This game starts out as simply and sweetly as its source material. But fifteen seconds in, the notion that you may have bit off more than you can chew sinks in. Then, before you can start to daydream, the roof caves in and you're screaming with delightful frustration. The reward here, on a surface level, is points for successfully completing combos and memorizing levels, but halfway into the second level I realized that it wasn't just points, the game was rewarding my performance with visuals and sound. The better you get, the better the game gets, and it gets pretty awesome. Amazing game. Pick it up.

Really hard~
Thus game is great but I find it extremely difficult to play when your finger is in the way of the on coming bits. :/

Fantastic Game!
I own BIT.TRIP BEAT on my PC, and the game is just as good, if not better, here. The only thing I would reccomend is a variable control response- I'm finding it awfully hard to finish Growth with the setting the difficulty's at now. Other than that, I have $5 saved up on my account in anticipation that the other 5 BIT.TRIP games come out for the iOS, because I'd buy them in a heartbeat.

Among the best
I originally played this and the other bit.trip games on the wii and it is exactly what i have been looking for in a rhythm game. This game is tough so if you are up for a challenge, this game is for you. It is not tough because of bad game design...this is one of the most brilliantly designed games ive ever played! The music is great, and only gets better when you play good. The music is, as best i can describe, modern chiptune. You can really hear the 8-bit references but its also got alot of modern sounds! The gameplay is addicting, it involves deflecting beats coming from the right side using your paddle on the left side. Every beat you deflect adds a sound to the music when it hits the paddle and when it dissapears on the right side of the screen, and it really adds alot to the experience! This game also has some insanely good graphics for a mobile game...well worth the $0.99! I highly recommend this game, i have played it many times and still come back to it. As far as download content goes the new levels are a little bit sloppy in design, but if you want more rhythm pong gameplay with new music its worth a buy!
