Does not come close to the complete native tree selection in the suburbs outside Atlanta GA. Does not include local search feature found in the Birds guide. App has poor graphics, clumsy navigation, and generally feels like a rushed job that was published merely for the sake of it and with no regard for the user, education, or convenience.

Room for improvement
A nice app to have, but it could certainly be better. Throughout the layout and design are not great. This is not just an aesthetic problem but also sometimes a usability issue; on some pages the photos are simply too small to be helpful. And the quality and availability of photos for various trees is wildly irregular. Some trees are well represented and well photographed; others have what seem like one or two snapshot-quality images. The overall feel is less professional and polished than expected.

Extremely helpful for field work. Not quiet as useful as a dichotomous key and could use a bit more detail and plates. Otherwise an amazingly useful quick guide. I use it every day.

Thumbnails too small
I love having this field guide info at my finger tips, but I'd you don't know what you're looking for these really won't help. Unlike the hard-copies, the thumbnail pics are so small they are useless on both the iPhone and iPad. I've finally become frustrated enough to post this on all the guides I've purchased with the hope that others will agree and get the developers attention since this I really the only major flaw in thaw otherwise excellent apps.
