This is just an equalizer for you to look at while listening to your music. It's pretty trippy.

Cute - But...
Cute app but if you have a new Retina iPad, you'll be very disappointed. Looks pretty ragged when you double the app to fill the screen. It really should be categorized as iPhone-only. At least it was only 99cents...but not free as blogs indicated. Also - why mess up the screen with permanent title bars and the camera icon? I want to see the graphics - not text. It's distracting. Still, this is a good start. Just give us a truly compatible iPad retina version and get rid of the title bar and this will be 1000% better.

Good eye candy with a bit of variety
This is a pleasant little app, but it doesn't really have much to do with 3-D worlds as the title states. The visual effects seem to be broken into three categories: morphing 3-D objects, flying through tunnels, and moving through galaxies. My favorite is the "cosmic journey". The app would be worth it if it only had that experience alone. A nice touch is that you can speed up or slow down any of the effects by tapping either the top or the bottom of the screen. It's a very simple app, with no settings button, so what you see is what you get. With that said, here's what I'd like to see in an update: First, this app just begs to be made universal and native to the iPad. The visuals are not retina quality, so that would be a much desired enhancement as well. The app displays a banner across the top which gives the title of the visual you're looking at, a back button, and a camera icon. That's nice to have, but it should fadeout after a couple of seconds and return if you tap in that area of the screen. As with most visual eye candy apps, the best effects have nothing else on the screen when they're running. The developer may want to check out some of the more "mature" apps in this eye candy category: "Pixel Time" (pop up menu implementation technique), "Gravilocity" (fading controls), "Cosmic Top" and any of the "iamascope"series (touch control of morphing objects), and, of course, the entire "Spawn" series (Spawn3D, SpawnHD, SpawnGlow, SpawnSparkle, SpawnSym, etc.). If you really want to take the "cosmic journey" effect to a new level, watch what they do in "Eyegasm". All in all this is a good release, and I can see that a lot of gamers may be interested in this developers programming skills for their backgrounds, especially tunnel games. I'd go ahead and give it five stars with the updates I suggested implemented.
