Good for business - simple and large canvas
Great for business use. I use Adobe Ideas for business meetings where i need to quickly sketch out concepts, visualizations, ideas. My requirements were: easy to use, simple navigation, large zoomable canvas, and support for layers. Not using it for art, so limited tools and brush settings did not matter. This is the best tool I have found. I have looked at: - Autodesk Sketchbook pro. works but is a bit more complex and cumbersome. - Neu.notes. Definitely try before buying adobe ideas. Has zoom, good tools, good price, layers? - Shared paper. Interesting. Huge canvas, simple. Dont think had layers. -Jot Free. Another interesting app. Zoomable canvas. A little quirky wrt zoom - Penultimate, Bamboo: simple, but neither had the zoomable canvas. Dont think they have layers also. Some things lacking with Ideas (annoying, but positives outweigh negatives): - only one layer supports photo import - no image export to camera roll (you can always do a screen capture) - no evernote support - no text tool

Nice controls
I like the accurate sketch control but wish there was text and social sharing

Rather insufficient for the price
I expect great things from Adobe. I expect great things from Adobe especially when I pay $10 for an app. However, this app falls far short of some of the other apps on the market for half the price like procreate and sketchbook Pro. There's no option to control the softness of the brush and the functionality is extremely limited. It seems like this is targeted toward people who just want a quick sketch. But if that's the case, you would be much better off with one of the free options out there like bamboo. Adobe may think that access to the cloud makes this worth the amount of money that they're charging, but it seems really lackluster compared to what other apps offer you for a lot less money.

Nice.
A very nice simple and clean app. Please! Please! Adobe don't bloat or over think this app as you have with your desktop apps. Keep it simple and don't feel you have to release new versions ever year.

Update fix
If you can't update the app, delete the installed app then reinstall the updated one
