Not worth $5
From the pictures it looks like a cool app, and it is. Even the fact that it's very simple isn't too bad. However the fact that you have to buy the ability to use more than one layer is total bs. And the fact that it has to be purchased on the iPhone, iPod and iPad SEPARATELY is ridiculous. This app is UNIVERSAL. Something this simple should come with the layers for free, especially with that price. Also the ability to merge layers would be great.

Pretty awesome
Really enjoying this app. I've been using it for a few months now and I can't really say anything negative about it aside from the fact that I wish it had some form of text function. This app functions smoothly and the interface just makes sense.

Stupendous at what it is supposed to do.
This app is probably one of my favorites. The interface is super clean, efficient, and intuitive to anyone familiar to Photoshop on the desktop. It's not a painting app. It's not a vector creation app. This app is designed to allow you to quickly capture ideas (whoa, it's like they named it that INTENTIONALLY) on the go. And it does that excellently. On my iPad 2, there is NO lag or latency when zooming, panning, or painting. The color/opacity/brush size buttons are all right next to each other, allowing for extremely fast changes. The ability to hide the sidebar is much appreciated, and the controls never feel too far away when it is. The interface never hangs, even with dozens of apps in the multitasking tray. All in all, it's both well built and well thought out. I can't really say enough nice things about this app. This is one of the few apps that I use where I'm not constantly wishing for any features or changes while I'm using it. Yes, it could use an eyedropper (pretty badly, actually). But, hey, that's what the upcoming Photoshop Touch is for, right? Other reviewers seem to think that this app is intended for much more than what it is. It's not a professional grade image editor--it's a stripped-down digital sketchbook at best. Sure, it's a little sleazy to use completely unrealistic screenshots to lure you in, but that's what businesses do. Sure, it's a tad bit shady to make you buy the layers feature (I consider the app to be $7 instead of $6. That feature should come bundled, even if the app's price is raised). But that's just how it is, and people should stop complaining. Because this is a fricking awesome app that is an absolute breeze and pleasure to use.

Needs real color picker
I am a big fan of adobe photoshop, so I had high hopes for adobe ideas. I am very disappointed with this product. It dose less than other drawing apps that I purchased recently. I'm upset that I had to pay for layers, when other apps include layers and much more. It is sad but, I have pretty much abandoned this app since I installed it at the same time as the procreate app and I use procreate even less since I bought the sketch club app recently. Adobe, if you're listening, please add a real color picker instead of the weird one you have bundled. I have three other art apps that have a color picker that allows you to just press and hold to create a ring of color and make it your current color. The only good thing I have to say is that the line smoothing was done well, but, I would like some more options. Also, who ever enables pressure sensitivity for iPad, I will win my loyalty and my dollar. Apps I recommend more than adobe ideas: Procreate Sketch club

Great app!
Everything is as expected. Maybe a little pricey, but just about worth it. Only minor suggestion is labels or titles for ideas, to differentiate duplicated ideas. Otherwise great app!

Great App with some Missing Features
Adobe Ideas is surely an Awesome application. The one app on my iPad I use the most after iBooks of course. I have been using this application since version 1.0 to keep notes, ideas, flowcharts etc and be able to share them with others. My kids have also been using it extensively drawing toons and manga… I do wish it had the following - Be able to define a background color for the canvas. I purchased the 10 layers hoping it can do it, but no! I love drawing white on a blue background, like a blueprint…. - Shapes, which should be part of any vector app. Not to miss out on the ability to fill and rounded corners.
