It's ok. But just ok
There is a big difference between the illustrator pen tool and this apps pen tool. The pen tool on ideas is no more than a different brush stroke. If this app is going to have these tools they should adapt the actual features so this app isn't the same as every cliche note taking doodling app. As of right now, I wasted my ten dollars. I'll go back to the computer and drawing tablet rather than get less than half of the output by using adobe ideas. The new update still lacks a lot. As a designer, I'll give this app 2 stars, for lack of everything convenient and useful.

Great update and totally different experience with other sketch apps. But need the function to organize my works. For example, changing the order.

Great App
This app has been a lifesaver for me this year. The latest upgrade is great! I really like having the ability to fill an area with the paint bucket tool. I have been able to create some quality vector work and the ability to import into Illustrator rocks!! A few things I would like to see in future versions is the ability to rotate layers as well as name them.

Not great
Decent & fun but there are cheaper apps with more features & tools. There's no circle, square or straight line tools to name a few that are oddly missing. Also the lines automatically smooth out, very cool feature unless you want to purposely make a squiggly line (there's no option to toggle this feature on/off) after spending some time with it I realized after you have a few layers it becomes extremely unresponsive. Pinch to zoom & you literally have to wait 30-40 seconds for it to catch up & perform the action. Hopefully a update will fix that specific issue. Sketchbook pro's free version is very similar. IDraw is way more advanced & only $8 (to be fair, some may find iDraw to be a little too advanced) . Don't get me wrong this is a decent app but it's way overpriced, parts of it are simply broken & I feel slightly ripped off

Keeps getting better!
I loved this app from the start. I appreciated the simplicity and ease of use... However I really really love the new updates. I use layers all the time and being able to duplicate them and manipulate them more is wonderful. I didn't think I would like extra brushes, but the pen is pretty sweet with the variegated stroke. I have told so many people they need it. I used to draw an image in black ink then scan it into the computer to colorize, this helps me skip that step. I love layers.

Great on so many levels.
This is hands down the best drawing / idea / whiteboard app on the market. The new update, with additional tools, allows for even more styling and greater creative potential. I'm in love with the function that allows you to press and hold to change the color of an object. Improvements might include palm recognition, template layers (grid, ruled, perspective), and perhaps simple shapes and lines. Great job Adobe, I tell everyone I know to download this app.
