Best adobe iPad app
This is by far my favorite iPad app by adobe. I just wish it supported pressure sensitive styluses. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for that. The thing that really sets it apart from other drawing apps is that it is vector based. So if you zoom in, scale, and rotate you will still have nice clean lines. Also it's performance is considerably better than PS Touch and most other pixel painting apps. I know adobe has updated photoshop touch to support pressure sensitivity, hopefully they do the same for ideas. If they do I think they have a chance at grabbing the attention of tablet artists again.

The app that got me excited about Illustrations again
I am a long time Adobe Illustrator fan and used to do illustrated logos all the time in Illustrator. In recent years I lost interest but when I got Adobe Ideas and saw that it drew in vectors like Illustrator I thought I would give it a try. I was able to create illustrations in a fraction of the time I did on the computer using Adobe Illustrator. I was able to get the initial drawing done on the iPad then cleaned it up on the computer. Pros: Love the drawing tools Love that you can work in Layers Love the compatability to Adobe Illustrator Cons: I really wish there was a couple other drawing tools where I can draw straight lines or create boxes and circles.

No vector editing
This app may be "vector based" but you cannot edit your vectors in the app. You have to import them to Illustrator. Big disappointment as I was looking for an iPad app that would let me edit my lines on the iPad. Unless you are buying this as a companion to Illustrator, you can save a lot of money buying other very similar apps.

Great app, but needs improvement
I really like the simplicity of this app, but it's a little to simple. Not enough options. 1. There are no basic shapes 2. No live mirror, but you can flip a duplicate layer. 3. No easy way to undo. You have to click the button instead of a simple gustier. 4. Can't rename layers And I'm sure the could be more, but for now that is good. I still really like the app for quick ideas. I love the auto smooth feature (just no way to turn it off or on - it's always on).
