I love this! It makes it so much easier to find tabs anywhere I have wifi... Super great for when I go to lessons or wanna record covers. It has autoscrolling, which is great so you can play and not worry about having to stop playing or memorize certain parts of the song since you need both hands to play. Another great feature is that you can filter what turns up in search results. O don't play bass or drums, and o know very little about tab reading. I can make sure that I don't get bass tabs when I'm looking for songs to play on guitar, and I can get chords!!! Great job (:

Awesome! And best of all, free! m/>.<
This app is great! Anyone who plays guitar/bass (and there's a few keyboard & drum tabs on there but they're rare) and wants to learn a song should get this. I don't have Internet at home, so I like how I can save my favorites and look at them later offline. Possible improvements: 1.) while online be able to find the tabs for the song currently playing on your iPod/iPhone. 2.) be able to use a more advanced search so you can look tabs up by artist or by song name or by both at once. 3.) have a "most downloaded" section so people can see the most popular tabs. 4.) have the tabs more organized such as by artist or alphabetically. One problem is that while offline I turned my iPod sideways for landscape mode & it told me "Could not download tab content for landscape orientation. Please check your connectivity and then try again.". It should automatically download both portrait AND landscape when I first add it to my favorites.

Great free tab app
For a search engine, it has a lot of cool stuff like auto-scrolling and saving tabs to a favorites list. I personally like it, and it's free, so there's nothing to lose.

Doesn't work at all!
I have to agree with Kimberly Rosner this app is worthless! I cannot find a single tab, of any type - even one the developer said he found easily. Quite to the contrary, each and every search always returns the error message "Couldn't retreive results from server". Other tab apps on my devices (iPad, iPod, & iPhone) work flawlessly but this app fails on every platform and in the same spactacular way! Clearly there is a subset of users for whom this app is a complete failure and, from my contact with the developer, the cause for the failure is a complete mystery. I had high hopes for this app, thankfully I didn't pay for it. If the developer ever fixes the mysterious problem, that I and others have discovered, I will edit this review with new results and recommendations. Until then, as long as it is free... download and try it, if it doesn't work - delete it! It the developer starts to charge for the initial download, avoid it like the plague as it clearly has a fatal flaw somewhere in the code.

Worth a buck
Good tabs. Cache locally. I needed. The idiots at ultimate-guitar should take note.
