Good, but crashes are annoying
Really like the feature of keeping horizon level when using tilt steering. Lineup of cars is pretty good, but inclusion of LM Rally Fighter is genius. Love driving that thing in the dirt! If the game didn't crash all the time, I'd be hooked, and give it 5 stars.

Patience required!
2KDrive is the best racing game I've played on the iPhone, but it is also still very much a work in progress. After years of playing other "realistic" racing games it took me a while to get used to the controls - once things go wrong they go very wrong very quickly. After several weeks of playing I now appreciate the challenge. The launch control and handbrake features are very nice... 2KDrive may drive fabulously, but everything else needs continued improvement. Resolution is sometimes so low that it negatively effects racing. Game progression is ill-defined - I'm still not sure how to "beat" the game. The coins, miles, stars rewards seem silly and pointless. Load times vs racing times are way too long. I don't mind the silly non-racing events, but more racing against larger fields of opponents would be better as would the ability to re-race events after getting first.

Getting there
Playing on ipad3. The handling on the cars has improved slightly since release. However, cornering should not be an upgrade spec. Set each car to the equivalent of a full cornering upgrade and remove the spec. Set initial braking to be stronger than what it is now. The handling is better, but with cornering as an upgrade spec I'm not sure whether it's the game or the car that stinks.

Not bad, not good...yet
*updated for newest version* Update: from what I'm reading, people are saying the handling is still awful, I thought it was marginally improved and have been doing better after the update which gained them a half a star. The British cars update also shows that they are willing to expand the lineup even though the cars they added are awful in real life, it's an improvement, another half star I haven't had any issues with crashing on the newest ipad... Knock on wood Original review: *** This game has the potential to be everything Real Racing 3 should have been. It is obviously still early and it's a little buggy, the game crashes whenever a push notification from another app comes up. I will edit this when the bug is fixed. The gameplay is okay, the driver assists are awful and most players will be much better off without them, but the races are good once you get used to the controls. The steering sensitivity is a little off, it feels just a little bit behind for some reason but its not debilitating. Some of the events feel a little hokey but again they're not bad. The graphics aren't the worst though they're a little buggy as well, damage to the front of my 240z made the hood (bonnet) go inside the engine but again I will edit my review when the bugs are fixed. There aren't a whole lot of makes of cars in the game but I'm sure they will license more when they can. Overall the game is worth the purchase price and not a penny more...right now Here's why you should buy this game: It is going to get better. Once the bugs get worked out, and they fix the controls, once there are more manufacturers, and generally improve the game with updates, it is going to be fantastic. 2k, while they do offer premium in app benefits, they don't nickel and dime you and make it impossible to win like EA does. EA dropped the ball with Real Racing, they had something awesome and they blew it, hopefully 2k will learn from EA's mistake and use their community to improve the game, not use it to find out how to charge you more. TL;DR? Buy it, but don't expect to be blown away
