Junk hardware and overpriced
The dock is "Made for iPod touch. Works with iPhone." what they mean is it works with your iPhone if you turn off the phone and wifi parts. The background noise is annoying if you turn the car stereo up past the "elevator music" level. Listening to the same songs with the headphone jack plugged directly into the aux in sounds 3 times better. I like the dock itself as far as form and style, but the sound quality has ruined this product. As for the app, it's nothing much more than any other radio. Station selection, faves, and now playing. If you really want the sound quality, there are several units available that will provide much better sound and similar functionality.

Skydock Has Some Querky Problems But Works Well When You are Finally At The XM Radio Area
Skydock is a somewhat good idea with some flaws. The app does not automatically power up and power down the iPod Touch when you start the car up and shut the car down. I had to buy a modulator and connect it between the radio input and antenna coax cable due to the low power tamsmission of the Skydock and associated background noise.. The modulator lowers the signal from the antenna so that stations from the local area can not be picked up easily. This is not the Skydock's problem but the modulator's attenuation of the antenna signal. The apps FM signal page is a bit qwerky if you have to remove a preset frequency. Don't like the non-autostart up when my iPod is in the Skydock cradle. Also a bit clumsy in the sequence to get to the XM radio area.

You Can't Be Sirius!
It's been over a year since the xm-sirius merger, but you'd never know it from xm/sirius. Neither this app or the blackberry app can be used by Sirius users. Why? There is absolutely NO REASON for this. I'm a fan of the Sirius/XM app, but since I have a touch, it's of little use in the car without the Skydock... and skydock is of no use to Sirius users.

Outstanding! For XM Users
For XM users this app with the skydock is the BEST combo to date. Even if you decide not to subscribe to XM for the satellite radio feed you can play all your media through the skydock. Sirius should make a similar skydock for their listerners or make it compatible Best Christmas gift I have gotten this year.

Great Work XM
I absolutely love the Skydock and the App. It's the best satellite radio I have ever owned, and it's my iPhone to boot. XM put a lot of time into the App and did it right. One gripe, where is the sports alert/ticker for Nascar? Every other sport that Sirius/XM covers is listed except Nascar. Get working on it, I am sure a software update can fix the issue.

Why on XM platform
Who owns who here??? No wonder the stock is in the toilet. Aside from the Howard Stern Show, Sirius continues to struggle with who they are and fails to align the Brands. Why launch a great item like this under an old brand!? This most recent launch on an old XM platform is another miss. Why make me mod my subscription to own this and how come they don't mention their #1 channel... Howard in any FAQ or descriptions? Will I get Howard without changing my membership from Sirius to XM?? - Ticked Lifetime Sirius subscriber and stock holder.
