iOS5 Issue with iPod (3rd Gen)
After upgrading to iOS5 the iPod, when placing it in the XM SkyDoc, reports there is an accessory that needs an App. I have the XM SkyDoc App installed and latest update. It asks if I want to download the app from the store. I cancel and it works normal. Very annoying. I hope they update to be compatible with iOS5. P.S. It worked flawlessly with iOS4.x.x

Room for improvement but does what it should
Works just fine for me. I don't understand the complaining about the icon. Who cares? Technical support is bad, but tech support is always bad for everything these days. The SkyDock hardware works well. The app could use some cosmetic tweaks and the interface is fiddly and unresponsive (leave the favorites page up when you're driving so you can switch channels with one touch instead of infinite swiping and poking). Honestly though, I don't know how they could design an interface that would work better. Some things are just hard to do on a small touchscreen. Hasn't been updated in a while, but I don't think they should be pushing a lot of updates unless they're going to make major improvements, regardless of the app's look and feel being behind their current logo and brand design. The dark colors are better in a car anyway, especially at night where a bright screen would be distracting and keep your eyes from adjusting to see the road. Never had any of the hardware or software issues others have reported so I have to figure at least some of those are ID-10T errors.

Works fine
I have a 2nd generation itouch, but I'm wondering if I can use my iPhone 4 too. Does anyone know if I can?

This App pretty much killed my iPOD
The App disables the iPOD's automatic no-activity shut-down feature, which is fine and necessary while you are using it and listening to the radio. BUT, once you shut off the car and it cuts off power to the Sky-Dock, if you don't remember to manually turn off the iPOD...IT FRIKKIN LETS THE IPOD STAY ON UNTIL THE BATTERY DIES!!!!!!!!!!! Because of this STUPID software design flaw (not to RE-ACTIVATE the iPOD's auto-shut-down feature once the Sky Dock loses power) IT HAS KILLED THE BATTERY IN MY IPOD!!!!! In summary, the software works but this is a terrible siftware design flaw. (And reading the crappy reviews for the never version of the software, I'm scared to "upgrade" for fear thisng will only get worse!!)

Love it
Works great. I keep my old iPhone 3G in. As my Xm. And as iPod touch.
