excellent app!
As a long time user of XM products, I can say it is nice to have one less wire to clutter the installation. Only the RF antenna wire needs to be connected and you still get audio (FM) into your head unit.

Amazing!
If you would have told me 3 years ago that I would be using my cell phone today as an XM receiver and have new songs tagged to buy on iTunes I would have looked at you crazy! This app is awesome and intuitive. The sound I'd perfect (if you use the aux cable) and the installation was a breeze!

Great! But not free!
Very nice app, but you must open an account with XM Radio and buy the SkyDock.

This Rocks!
I have been a Sirius XM listener for sometime but had to go between 2 devices (touch & Sirius radio) Now I have both in one device! This rocks! The Sky Dock mounting is quick and easy. Just plug it in to the cig lighter and put the antenna up. The antenna is a little small magnetic thing that sticks to the roof. No tools! When you start your car it comes on very fast, much faster than my stand alone Satellite radio. Changing stations is almost instant just like FM stations. I was really impressed with the sound quailty of ipod and sat radio.

Fantastic!!
Have been using the SkyDock for several days now and I'm loving it more and more each day. For a v 1.0 of an app it is terrific. It's very intuitive and easy to navigate channels and categories. I'm used to using an XMp3 in the car with a remote control, so I'm having to make some adjustments to how I use the SkyDock. There isn't a remote control so, if you're a channel flipper like me, it's not quite the same as using the remote to change channels. There are 12 spots for favorite channel icons. They're are a little small but still easy to read. I've found that putting 4 fingers on the back of the SkyDock and touching and swiping with my thumb is the easiest way to navigate and channel select. You can direct dial a channel with an on-screen keypad. There again, the icons are a little small but still easy to use. One thing I'd like to have is a "scan" feature which they could easily add, but you can scan pretty quickly while keeping your eyes on the road by doing a "swipe-touch-swipe-touch" pattern to scan through the preview cards and tune channels. Also, if you don't have an XM subscription yet, you can still use the SkyDock to play your mp3s from the iPod app or any other music app and charge your phone at the same time. It's just a fanstastic piece of hardware. Combined with this app, it's just about the perfect way to get sat radio in your car.
