This app has not been updated in over 3 years and has problems with iOS 7. You are better off buying a cheap radio from SiriusXM's store rather than the SkyDock. When it works, the SkyDock is wonderful. But SiriusXM is not committed to keeping this software up to date and is not worth buying. I will be buying a radio to replace the SkyDock.

Works with iPhone 5 and 30 pin to lightning
Charges and works as it did with iPhone 4. No problems I really like my Skydock. It's a shame XMSirius quit supporting it with app updates. I thought I'd drop this in here in case a few folks wanted to know about iPhone 5 compatibility. Update 10/14/13 App and sky dock still works fine with iPhone 5s running iOS 7.02 and using the 30 pin to lightening adaptor

Gave it one star because zero is not an option
Gave it one star because zero is not an option. Also, how about an upgrade to the sky dock hardware. I mean 30 pin Apple is no longer on most idevices

XM SkyDock & iOS 7
I just replaced my older Sirius radio with the XM SkyDock. I have an iPhone 5 (with an Otterbox Defender Case) using the 6.1.4 software and an Apple Lightning to 30 Pin Adapter Cable. When I opened the app and did the initial XM SkyDock firmware update install, it wouldn't work at all. It would get stuck on the initial update screen and wouldn't finish. I tried everything. Turning my phone on and off. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app, etc. nothing seemed to work. I emailed SiriusXm about my issue since I've been a long time customer, but they didn't have an answer for me. I've been reading about all the issues with their 2.1.8 update from the reviews. I've also noticed that the XM SkyDock app hasn't been updated in over 3 years, which I also included in my email to SiriusXM. Now this morning I updated my iPhone 5 with the latest iOS 7.0 and decided to give the SkyDock another try. Well it installed the 2.1.8 firmware update to my XM SkyDock without any issues! I was able to receive all the channels in my package and listen to my satellite radio. I really love the interface and features of the XM SkyDock app. Plus I receive other channels I didn't previously, such as KIIS FM! I'm really happy that it worked, because if it didn't, I was seriously contemplating canceling my subscription and just use the new iTunes Radio in iOS 7, which is great as well, but I love the stations on SiriusXm. In closing, anyone still having issues with your XM SkyDock app, I suggest updating your iPhone to the latest 7.0 iOS and give your SkyDock another try and see if that fixes your issues. Also, SiriusXM seriously does need to update this app to correct the issues others are having. It's been over 3 years since the last update.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Have iPhone5 waited over an hour for it to update and then started to make my phone go crazy. Will never update skydock or load. Can't even give it one star it's that bad!!!

The negative reviews are because there are stations which are unaccessible since there has not been an update since 2010. Ignore pretentious idiots who claim people just can't read instructions. SiriusXM has blown off this app. In a reply to me on Twitter XM Customer Support said there are currently no plans to update the Skydock app. Sirius XM has totally forsaken their loyal Skydock customers. Don't give them another cent. Cancel your memberships. You can still use the device to play Pandora and other apps through your car stereo, so long as the app is installed.
