Almost, But Not Quite
This is by far the best XM radio I have owned, the interface hands down wins over any other radio. There are a few things that they need to address though. #1 - The app only controls the channels, the tuner is in the accesory. Let us listen to the station we have on and still look at other apps. It doesn't seem like it would be hard to have the box keep playing when the iPhone isn't plugged in. #2 - The interface is still a little buggy. Sometimes I have to tap a station multiple times to get it to work. #3 - Why do I have to see an advertisement for the accessory to which I am connected everytime I open the app? #4 - Integrate the internet radio too, are 2 applications really necessary for basically the same thing? I think if XM were to address these issues, they would really have the best radio on the market.

Faulty SkyDock
Tried to install my Skydock yesterday to no avail. The device kept shutting off while plugged in the power port (cigarrette lighter). So after an 1 1/2 hours on the phone with XM, they're going to send me another one, this is only after I pay to ship it back....of course. Bogus.

Pointless app if you're already a listener.
If you already have a Sirius radio in your car this app and the overpriced dock are basically pointless. We STILL don't have a seamless transition from satellite to wifi/3g. That's what we've been waiting for!! The Stiletto is still the closest product to do this. And that's not saying much. :( What is the purpose of this? Those of us who have been Sirius subscribers for years because of Howard have been waiting two years for an iPhone app that would let us seamlessly go from car to mobile to car like the Stiletto does (in theory). So far we've got two big zeros from these two apps and this latest one is the worst. Why should Sirius subscribers have to cancel their subscriptions and get new ones to use this overpriced dock? This is just a ploy to get more $$ out of Sirius lifetime subscribers who should get Sirius channels on this app under their current subscription. The dock should be no more than $50-75. I'm beginning to think the merger was a bad idea. It hasn't helped those companies or the consumer one bit. Rather, everything has gotten worse especially if you have an iPhone and want to get Howard on it. PocketTunes is only way for 3g/edge/wifi.

Great device!
This device has everything; 3 input options, FM transmitter, FM directly connected, or aux. It plays; pandora, Sirius app, mp3s, and built-in XM sat tuner. Very clean, no mess and solid

KILLER APP
Ok, Lets settle the questions for those that want to give this 1 star out of ignorance. 1)..Yes!!!if you are an XM subscriber this would be an additional subscription. This is a full service satelite radio! 2). Howard Stern is available on XM through Best of Sirius...You have to add that service as with any XM device. You can get XM EVERYTHIING, Or you should be able to get one of thier $9.99 services such as mostly music and add the best of SIRIUS, giving you Howard and some music, or sports and talk...for a cost of about $13.99 + fees...compared to $16.99 3) If you are a Sirius subscriber, you can not add XM to your account as an add on rate....This is XM 4) This is a satelite radio, not 3g or wi-fi...All programming is available when connected to SKYDOCK! No more stupid comments about having to pay for it...its premium radio!! No more saying Howard Stern is not available...He is for as little as $13.99..!!!The cost...well..sign up for 2 years and get $100.00 back if you are a new customer....The app is great as far as functionality...If you can't afford the service, dont say it is bad....I cant afford a BMW, but that doesnt make it a bad car...This is the ultimate in audio car entertainment!! You get your mp3 library..when that gets boring, switch to over 130 channels of premium uncut entertainment!!This makes your car look and sound like the car of the future! commerical free un edited music, talk radio, comedy, every sports game, Morning drive shows (Stern, Opie and Anthony), Name it,,,you got it now on your ipod or iphone!!! No more having to search the night before work and download songs or podcast!!! All for about $4.00 a week......My drive is now entertaining!! Rush Hour traffic is not bad anymore......
