Cool but.....
Updates take too long...18 megs takes 5 minutes? Hot spots are listed by address only, so even with the map it is hard to find an indoor hotspot without the name of the business. Otherwise its a cool app and nice to know where i can use my Xfinity internet around town.

No wifi spots anywhere in Seattle!
There are no wifi spots in the Pacific Northwest. Another reviewer said there are no spots in Oregon either. Don't advertise that there are sooo many wifi spots when you send us our internet subscription info if there aren't any for hundreds of miles.

NO spots in all of Oregon!
Absolutely worthless!! Does't deserve even one star...there is absolutely no point to this APP. Even after the update.

Seriously, "Seriously" folks..
So I am reading the review of the application and I started laughing. There is one review where the reviewer gives one star and says the app cannot find the wireless in their front lobby. Duh...The app is for finding Xfinity WiFi hot spots not every spot near your location! Now for the true and advertised function of the application. Yes, it does find WiFi spots near your location...at least at the two locations in Northern CA and MA that I have tested. The bad part, of course, is that there are very few Xfinity WiFi hotspots so the use of the application is quite limited. I also found that some of the hotspots that were listed are not publicly accessible-- unless one wants to sit outside a secured building and work :) I do hope Comcast fixes both problems-- clearly delineate locations that are publicly or not publicly accessible, and add more hot spots.
