Most useful app on my iPad
This may be the app that convinced me of the power of an iPad. It makes the iPad a really useful, productive too. This app can be used by educators in situations where they used to use an overhead projector. Files can be projected on a large screen and then modified as the lecture proceeds. This app can be used to do mathematics by hand- just as we used to do with pencil and paper. That feature alone makes the iPad with whiteboard really useful. Whiteboard on the iPhone is not as useful - the screen is too small. I use a pencil sized stylus to do my work. It helps my hand writing. I found Whiteboard on line as a java based app for Windows, Mac, and Linux. It works beautifully, but has a slightly different thrust. This app could be improved if text could be input from the virtual keyboard. I am finding that I use this app more than any of my many others. It's fun to sketch or hand write notes and e mail them. Would it be possible to have an e mail option for a finished note, and not to have to save it as a photo first? I haven't attempted to collaborate yet, but that could be great also. This is an excellent investment. Buy it and support a great app. April 2011 update The iPod touch version fails to open. It appears to be loading, but then crashes .
