Very happy I have not paid for any decks
TREMENDOUSLY slow load time coupled with three initial screens of developers and game logos before you get to the main screen. Once you get there you have options to do things to "enhance" your gameplay. This is an app of uselessness to me. It's pretty pictures and annoying features. None of the features besides the army builder are useful to me. I don't need a damage tracker, I have the cards in front of me. I don't need a timer, I have my phone. I don't need to see my opponent's army on my phone, I can ask to see his/her cards at any time during the game. I loved iBodger and even Forward Kommander online, and still use iBodger when I want to build an actual list due to not wanting to give this app any more money than the Merc deck cost me. Overall, I am a loyal Privateer Press fan and WM/H player (the ONLY game I play), but this app just feels like a plastic spoon with a flamethrower, reading lamp, spare tire, nose hair trimmer, heart rate monitor and lip balm when all you want is a spoon, but since it's the only spoon allowed, you have to use it.

Same issues as most
But the most annoying is that it repeatedly crashes during a game, losing any damage tracking. I've used it one game only, and will not again until it's far more functional. This after purchasing the deck for my faction. Seemed like a brilliant replacement for iBodger, turned out to be a poor shadow of that app.

War Room has been working fine
This app has been working fine for me. I have had no drop outs or crashes. About half the players at my LGS use the app without problem. I used it all through our Journeyman league and now in the Machinations League. You have a one off payment for the faction decks you want. It does have some great features such as creating and saving Army Lists. It also has all the tier list information and all the new content from future books is free once you own a faction deck. If you are concerned about the added costs of buying the decks then stick with the cards. This app is by no means a must have but is another nice tool to have in the armoury.

Slow, Buggy, Bad
Painfully slow, riddled with bugs, expensive to fully enable, and nearly impossible to use on any screen smaller than a full-size iPad. For iBodger to have been forced off if the App Store to make room for this trash is unconscionable. Use an online tool instead of this (Forward Kommander is one, there are others). Not only will it work better, it's cheaper and doesn't reward this pitiful stain of an app.

Not cool its costs alot of $$$$$
First off the app is free. That's it's only good point. To start u need an IPAD; or else the screen is super tiny. Next u have to PURCHASE the decks u need to play. I just spent about $120 on the starter deck the books, paint, and individual units to build my starter army and now I have to spend MORE MONEY to use a FREE APP. Privateer press is pushing it. And finally my local gaming store doesn't allow the app cause they told me it crashes alot and people lose the game because of it. So I deleted this. Don't waste your time.

Terrific Value
Updated quickly with each new release for the decks you have, and all the factions are available for roughly the price of the main rulebook. Print books are great and I love them for the stories, but for a functional army builder and constantly updated rules and damage tracker you can't go wrong. Only small concerns are issues with themed lists and some issues with the login server. Other than that I can run it on a 3G network from my iPhone 4, with all updates, no problem
