Disappointing, especially after so long
I had been waiting for this app with great enthusiasm, but I am sorry to say it fails on many counts. For one, the menu interaction departs from the iOS expectations, instead going for its own look and feel. I think that was a mistake, as uniform menu interaction is one of the hallmarks of a good iOS app (for me anyhow). I was also disappointed to see lack of tablet orientation switching on the iPad version. Things seemed pretty laggy, and in general, I didn't feel like I was using an iPhone app. As for Warmachine specific stuff; the complete lack of tier support is an annoyance, but it is the inability to see which cards I do and do not own that really drives me nuts. I really wanted to play around with list building with the included cards to see what it could do, but just figuring out which cards I can add is an exercise in frustration. All in all, quite a miss by Tinkerhouse and Privateer Press.

Awesome Utility!
Keeps track of the business end of my spread so I can focus all of my energy on gameplay! Awesome tool!

A very mixed bag
Warroom is ambitious. It adds features no one wanted, seemingly to justify a pre-decided price. At the same time it runs away from features clamoured for and more useful, such as a collection manager. At best it's roughly equal to iBodger, which was free and superior. Privateer co-opted that and made an "official"-looking piece of sluggish bloatware. Visually slick but functionally impractical, a fun toy but not viable during brisk gameplay, and too clunky and slow to supplant iBodger for making armies. The app cannot compete, monopolizing was the only way this could make much profit. Hopefully they learn and make it much faster cheaper and leaner. Hold off for the inevitable fire sale on this app.

Ugh!
I give it one star for being pretty. Otherwise this is pretty bad. The user interface is clunky and all over the place. It is slow and has to load everything. The way theme forces are handled are just terrible. There are no restrictions in place so I can see players cheating their way to tier bonuses. The timer is only available in the fight mode and is tiny and unreadable. Overall a very poor app. The predecessor to this was much better in just about every way.
