App works well with a slick UI
App works as advertised. The UI is intuitive, though if you like ibodger's it may be tough to get used too. You do have to buy the decks of cards, though they are much cheaper than their real world counterparts. The best part is if you buy the decks on one platform you unlock it for other platforms as well.

Current version not worth the wait
With the nonnative controls and counter intuitive interface elements, like creating a new army, or having no differentiation between cards you own and don't own. The app is currently not worth investing in. Also the known lack of list enforcement is still a down point in an app that promised so much when it was previewed. I was waiting on this to use my Khador army that I got mostly second hand with MK1 cards or no cards, I guess they will stay on the shelf a while longer.

A good first step
So far so good... It's nice to finally have War Room, but the user interface is functionally pretty bad. (Feels like I'm trying to use a PC app on a tablet.) Layout is awkward, and it's difficult to try out all the features without buying a deck. A great start would be for Tinkerhouse to hire a design engineer. Still, it's the only game in town, so we're stuck with it. Here's to hoping it gets better, although I honestly thought it would be more baked given all the time it's taken to get this far.

Great app!
Put the app through a real game after purchasing faction decks...ran beautifully. There are a couple issues, theme force validation and being able to put any merc jack with your warcaster, but that only knocks off a single star. Recommended for any one that plays Warmachine/Hordes on any regular basis! I am using an iPad 2, and things look great!

Disappointing, especially after so long
I had been waiting for this app with great enthusiasm, but I am sorry to say it fails on many counts. For one, the menu interaction departs from the iOS expectations, instead going for its own look and feel. I think that was a mistake, as uniform menu interaction is one of the hallmarks of a good iOS app (for me anyhow). I was also disappointed to see lack of tablet orientation switching on the iPad version. Things seemed pretty laggy, and in general, I didn't feel like I was using an iPhone app. As for Warmachine specific stuff; the complete lack of tier support is an annoyance, but it is the inability to see which cards I do and do not own that really drives me nuts. I really wanted to play around with list building with the included cards to see what it could do, but just figuring out which cards I can add is an exercise in frustration. All in all, quite a miss by Tinkerhouse and Privateer Press.
