Disappointed
My walk has not been 'saved' though I requested it at the end of the walk when prompted. I work too hard for this app to fail as a tool in my fitness plan.

Great for morning walks...
Love the live feedback and my pace for each mile. Still lacking from a pedometer standpoint where I can keep track of my daily steps without worrying about my phone battery. Sometimes older technology trumps the new in areas like this. Now big brother knows exactly where I am on my walks. 😃

Distances walked inflated.
There are many things I like about this ap. it's easy to use and keeps good records. I use it daily and itostly does just what it is supposed to do. That said, I do find that the distances walked are always longer than I know them to be. More accurate if I walk fast but going more slowly say with 3 dogs the same distances show to be a lot longer. Today for example, my normal 1.7-1.9 mile wall was 2.4 miles as we stopped for sniffs and peeing. (Dogs not me!). I think it's the satellites moving even when I'm not. I've also found that when I walk, then pause walk to get in my kayak to paddle to another part of my walk, then resume walk, the thing counts my not walked distance.

Where does it say you must join mapmywalk to use this ?
If you thought this was a stand-alone app that you paid for and could use without signing up for their service, it is not. Whereas Runtastic Pro’s opening window allows you to close it and move on, this app’s only option is to sign up. Want to ask a question as to why they don’t disclose this in the app store, you must sign in. I wish I could get my money back.
