Thorough Translation Reference
The best, most precise translation searches I have experienced on any other platform. (I reference my Blackberry days)

Lacking True Distinctions Amongst Spanish-speaking Countries
I am a non-native speaker of Spanish whose lexicon is very "mexicano" due to the demographics of my city and subsequent exposure to its variations as well as my opportunities to learn abroad in Guadalajara. When I saw that this app offered such a broad selection of translations based on the most common options for each country, I was thrilled. Not only would I get a chance to expose myself to terms more commonly practiced in other areas (for example, the use of vosotros in Spain or vos in Argentina) but I would be able to enforce and develop my own "mental dictionary". I have inputted about a dozen terms that I know are favored by a wide margin of speakers in the tested countries (Mexico, Spain and Argentina) and none of them changed their translations to reflect a correct answer for each. Each time I put in the term, the translation stayed the same for each country and this is not correct. Here are a few examples: 'coger' shows "to take" in Spain - that's great - but in Mexico, it would be very helpful to the novice to understand the negative alternatives to that verb; "computer" shows as "computadora" in all three countries; "torta" is showing as a cake for our neighbors to the South as well as for Spaniards; any Mexican ordering a torta is in the mood for a yummy sandwich and a Spaniard is craving a sweet tooth. I do see a great feature for this app and it was actually the deciding factor in my decision to purchase this translator over another: the developer encourages corrections and suggestions from its users. I appreciate that and will take advantage of it. But for now, the advertised "country' selections are substandard.

Wonderful App
I use it mostly to learn new phrases. Simple questions to make my German customers warm up with delight. Makes their day, and now I have more friends in my workplace.
