Great app for readers!
It is amazing how the story feels like a brand new story after every time I play. A 5 star app!

Text based adventures rise again
This resurrection of the old text based adventure format has some interesting additions: choice of character, NPC state (such as emotion) affected by your choices, still pictures and character portraits reflecting their state. None of this is particularly unique so success may depend a lot on UI design and content. The shift in UI focus of attention is annoying, constantly looking above and below and at the text. One is forced to hold the book in two place by this too. Undo is needed in case the reader mis-hits a choice. That's easy to do because a too-slight scroll can be taken as a tap-to-choose. The content available now is nice enough but somehow not yet engaging me. I don't know what I'd need here, but polite 18th century society may grow dull fast.

At least it was free
Good concept bad delivery. Typical for a Linden Lab product. It's boring, point blank. The stories are fine but the plain pages and scrolling text were very blah. I would offer suggestions but Linden Research rarely, if ever listens to or helps their consumers.

intriguing
An odd and intriguing type of game. I had trouble with some of the screen commands, but I like the idea a lot.

Navigation is a bit spotty
I like the idea of an adult Choose Your Own Adventure book, but this one has some problems. Sometime I picked an action, when I was just trying to scroll through the possible actions. Also the I really hate having to hit the more button just to get the next line of the story. I should be able to read the story until I come to a decision making point. I have deleted this app. I would reinstall if they make the navigation better.
