Horrible, don't waste your time
Spent 20 minutes figuring out how to download my boarding pass. I don't think it's possible with this app. Poorly designed. Unless United's goal was to frustrate customers.

Epic Failure
I fly out of a regional airport and I travel a considerable amount. I fly US Airways when I have to and also use two other major carriers. This has to be the most pitiful, useless, time wasting airline App available. The other reviews tell it all, horrible!

Passbook Support
I don't understand all of the negative comments regarding boarding passes and Passbook. I registered my email address, verified it, checked in for a flight and confirmed by supplying my registered/verified email address and two boarding passes went to Passbook. Did it all within the app. And, according to the instructions, now that my email address is registered, my boarding passes will continue to go to Passbook even if I check in via a browser on my computer as long as I check the box to send boarding passes to my smartphone and supply my registered/verified email address. I think those who are complaining have not registered their email addresses.

Need Mobile Boarding Coverage Expanded
I can only echo what others have written about poor app functionality. The check-in process failed to complete once I saved my seat assignments. When I went to their online site, I was informed that the mobile boarding pass only works at the 45 cities listed and not for all Usairways airports. Of course, neither of my departures from either Rochester NY or Miami are included. What's up with not having ALL Usairways serviced airports included?

Worst app ever
This is easily the worst app I have ever used. Everything you think it should do, it doesn't. It is really good at frustrating/annoying you since you can't do anything useful.

Why can't you get it right? We ARE your business
Like countless other reviewers; I am baffled, that being so late to market with your app, & have it fail so miserably? How difficult is it for this organization to provide an app that "just works"? Being last to market, you certainly had time to research your competitors apps which actually navigate seamlessly and are a great benefit. If are pleased with your end product, profitability may be the least of your problems. Please fix, revamp, overhaul, at least get the redirects right.
