Does everything I need
Glad it's finally here. Pulls in my trips when logged in, check in from each flight and change seats and send boarding passes to the boarding pass wallet (+ add to passbook) on the home screen. Nice feature to be able to send boarding passes to the app even when checking in on the website.

Needs lots of improvement
I love the fact that US Airways finally has an app since i fly them often. However with that said, I find their app really needs improvement. I used the check-in function for the first time today and still did not transfer my reservation correctly. I am very used to using both United's and Delta's app and find them a whole lot easier to use as they 1. Make or Modify existing reservations 2. Select and modify seats on my flight 3. Easy look-up flight status and aircraft I am flying on. (US's ok but doesn't tell you much about the flight) 4. Look at seat maps (United only) to see if you hav an empty seat next to you 5. Check in and manage boarding passes on my smartphone. If the US Airways wants to really improve their app, they should take a page out of Either Delta's or United's, preferably United, and make an easy-to-use yet highly informative app

Fail
I debate if this should be a 2-3 but the true problem is it took THIS long to write something THIS bad. As someone who wrote below ALL you had to do was look at what Delta did and just copy it. There are basically 2 main things you want from an app like this. 1. To check on your flights 2. To add it to your Passbook or on the app screen itself. In order to add it to your pass book its a ridiculous process - First register your email - Check in on the app - Then FORWARD the pass to your email (note it doesn't even retain the email u logged in with) - Then open email click on the link - Link then opens in Safari .. and IN safari you click "Add to pass book" … Really?? Once you check in ON the app. It should have a button in. Not to mention the app ISNT using native iOS code. Its using one of those helper HTML wrappers which makes it when you click buttons to not respond like a button click should, and just greys out the screen Cant believe you took this long to write something solo bad.

It is sooooooo slow
I use the Delta app all the time. I suspect the low bid got the design job on this one. OMG. Won't be using this at all. Waste of memory

Disappointing
I fly over 100k annually with US Airways. It is beyond comprehension that they would release such a disappointing and embarrassing app. What's sad is that when checking in, the user is really just hitting the website, which means the app is just a shell/html5 wrapper. You might as well just check in on the regular site. Why even release something so poor? Why not just wait for the merger and use the AA app, which is far superior. Didn't the CIO or VP of App Dev try United, AA, or SWA's app to see an app done right? Unreal.

disappointment
impossibly complex to get a boarding pass or manage my flights. Delta, AA and United apps make this look like a joke.
